Attention
You must ship your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel in its entirety. Please DO NOT remove the front or the back covers of the gauge cluster as it needs to be secure so that electrical components are not exposed. This could result in an electrical short, doubling the cost of the repair or offsetting the calibration.
Packing
Your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel is a fragile electrical component to your vehicle. It can be very expensive and time-consuming to replace if damaged due to improper packing. Here are the steps you will need to take to insure your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel is safe and cost-effective to ship. After you’ve removed the gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel from your vehicle you will need to secure it with bubble wrap. Make sure that all areas are covered. Please do not use newspaper (shredded), blankets, or towels. A few pieces of tape can be used to secure the bubble wrap from coming loose. Please do not use an entire roll of tape as we will reuse the packing materials to send the gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel back to you.
The ideal box size is a 18x12x6. That is 18” long, 12” Width, and 6” depth. We understand that not everyone has access to a box with these exact measurements. However, please try to find a box close to these dimensions without going over 2 inches per dimension. Our return shipping estimates are based on the above packing dimensions. If there is still room in the box for the gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel to slide around after wrapping it, you may add packing peanuts. However, you must make sure that they are static-free, as you are essentially packing a circuit board.
Any box received over 3 inches in any dimension will be charged a surcharge for shipping if you did not choose option 1. The fee will be based on how big the actual box is.
Shipping
You’re responsible for shipping your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel to us. If not included, please make sure you add at least $100 insurance to your package. We accept packages from USPS, FedEx, and UPS. There are a few different options when it comes to the return shipping as listed below. In most cases, we will have your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel back out to you the very next business day after we receive it.
Option 1 – (easiest and quickest) – Purchase a return label and include in the box prior to shipping your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel out to us. This will ensure you receive your gauge cluster in the quickest possible manner and give you control on how fast you would like it to get it back.
Option 2 – A standard $17 charge will be added to your total for return shipping. Your gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel will be sent back via UPS ground or USPS Priority Mail. This will depend on whichever is fastest and falls within the standard fee.
Payment
Payments can be made in the form of a business/personal check, cashier’s check, or money order. Your form of payment needs to be sent with the gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel. Checks and money orders will need to be made out to Mike Letcher. You’ll also need to remember to add the $17 return shipping fee if you selected option 2 above. We also accept PayPal & Debit/Credit cards. All debit/credit card transactions are subject to a processing fee.
Warranty
If there is ever a problem with the internal motors or lighting in the cluster we have already replaced, please sent it into us. We have a no questions asked policy. We do however have a warranty sticker on the top of the gauge cluster/speedometer/instrument panel. If this sticker looks as though it’s been tampered with it automatically voids the warranty. If the bezel gets broken in transit or is broken prior to shipping you will need to replace it. If you chose not to replace the front lens (Bezel) we can NOT warranty the work. This is due to dirt and debris getting in the motors and causing them to malfunction. Just fill out the warranty form in the Let’s Get Started Navigation button atop of any page. Print, Complete form, and ship!
